Action Holiday Gifting Fundraiser

Action is partnering with one of our favorite local goodwill organization: The San Diego Rescue Mission:  We will be able to obtain total donation numbers by the end of this fund-raiser, which is scheduled through the end of 2020.  Thank you in advance for considering your support to the less fortunate community that the Rescue Mission serves.

Member Trip / Ride / Idea Forum
Now Online at ActionSki.org

Since Action cannot lead any trips this season, and due to popular demand, we have released a trip forum on our website, accessible by current Action members only.   This forum can only be accessed by first logging in and then selecting “Activities” and then “Forums” from our actionski.org website.

Please review “Our Forums Policy” button on the Forums site before posting any planned trips.  This Forum is strictly for members to share personal trip information with other Action members.  Action members must login to be able to view these Forums, so you must be a current Action member.  Please keep in mind that Action does not provide insurance for the posted trips, since these trips are all independently arranged without Action oversight.

Hopefully this will help our member community enjoy our core passion for skiing, snowboarding and happy hours in smaller groups.  Any feedback is more than welcome!

News from Mammoth Mountain

On December 7, the State mandated Southern California region “Stay Home” order will go into effect in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will continue to operate for skiing and snowboarding during this time as permitted by the State and adjust our various businesses accordingly. In compliance with this order, the Mammoth Lodging Collection will not be accepting reservations for the duration of the "Stay Home" period. We are currently accepting reservations for December 27 and beyond.

  • If you have a lodging reservation and are currently in transit to Mammoth, please reach out to confirm if it is available, as all short term rentals are cancelled.
  • Lodging reservations are available for critical infrastructure service personnel.

In accordance with the State of California’s most recent guidance:

  • Dining offerings will be adjusted across the resort with limited outdoor seating available.
  • Retail stores will operate at 20% capacity.
  • Lodges will be open with access to restrooms, lockers, rentals and guest services. Masks are required and social distancing will be enforced. We ask that guests limit time spent in lodges.
Not sure if you should plan a ski trip this season, due to Covid?
TripAdivsor provides an abundance of information that may put many minds at ease, especially folks that hold an Ikon or Epic pass:

Upcoming Events
Due to current Covid situation in San Diego, Action has decided to plan the next events come 2021, starting in January.  We are considering an outdoor fitness class, beer tasting zoom event, and more, so stay tuned.

The entire Action board team wishes everyone a wonderful holiday season, followed by a kick-off to a much better year.  See you on the slopes!
