Join Action Ski and Snowboard Club for a hike in Mission Trails Park near Santee.

Park in the dirt parking lot at the corner of Bushy Hill Drive and Father Junipero Serra Trail. We’ll walk ¼ mile up the road and then cross the San Diego River and walk through the grasslands and climb to the top of a ridge for a great view. The trail continues on to Oak Canyon and back to the river and the historic Old Mission Dam and eventually back to the parking lot. The hike is about 3 miles, gains approx. 300 feet in elevation and is moderate in difficulty. Bring plenty of water, walking poles, a sweatshirt or light jacket, and a hat.

Note: Bathrooms are available at the campground next to the parking lot.
