Vinos Pijoan Bruma Casa Magoni
-
Description (wineries subject to change):First, Vinos Pijoan, a beautiful small venue with sweeping views over the Valle de Guadalupe. We will be doing a 4-wine tasting and short tour of the fermentation area. If we’re lucky we will get to taste the 2019 white wine directly from the fermenters – keep your fingers crossed! Next, we will visit Bruma, a relatively new winery built around a 300 year old oak tree and designed by Mexican architect Alejandro D'Acosta, a renowned winery designer (think Vena Cava and the upside-down boats from the first year we did this tour). There we will do a tasting and a short tour (while drinking). Third we will go to Casa Magoni. Here we will do a tasting under the trees and hear about this new project in the Valle. Our last stop is Traslomita, around 4:30pm. We will be served a family-style meal accompanied by wine from Lomita, the sister winery of this restaurant. From there we’ll head back to the border and finally the park-n-ride.
