Feeding San Diego

Every Action Counts, Now More Than Ever

Asking for help isn’t easy, but helping can be.

Before the COVID-19 global pandemic,
one in eight people in San Diego County faced hunger

Now, due to school and business closures, job losses, rising food costs,
disruptions to the food supply, and economic instability,
Feeding San Diego is seeing an estimated 50 percent increase in need

— and the effects are devastating.

Hunger Action Month is a nationwide awareness campaign during the month of September designed to mobilize the public to take action on the issue of hunger.

The United Nations Association of San Diego is endorsing Feeding San Diego’s campaign locally in recognition of the hunger-relief organization’s alignment with the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals, specifically No Hunger (SDG#2), Climate Action (SDG#13) and Partnerships (SDG#17).

Action Ski Club has set a fundraising goal of $2500 to help those in our community in need.
Your generous donations will be greatly appreciated.
