"A Tour of Italy and its Native Grapes" Virtual Wine Tasting - August 22nd
Saturday, August 22nd, 4pm
Please join us for a Tour of Italy and Its Native Grapes"! This event will be a virtual wine tasting led by wine expert and Italian native Petra Belliti, whom you may know from Solare Restaurant in LIberty Station. The fee per person is $30, which includes five wines in two ounce pours, tasting notes, and of course Petra's expertise as she leads us through an hour long wine tasting journey through Italy. This event will take place on Saturday, August 22nd at 4pm on Action's Zoom page (links will be sent to registrants prior to the event).
About the Format
This will be a virtual wine tasting, and the wine will be provided for pickup at one of two locations starting the day prior to the event. Your wine tasting kit will include two ounce pours of each of the five wines, as well as a key to which bottle is which. The presentation itself will be on Zoom and you will have a chance to ask Petra any questions you may have during the course of the tasting. Details for the pickup times and locations as well as the Zoom links and tasting notes will be emailed to participants prior to the event.

Bicycle Tour - August 29th
Bring your best wheels and plan on a leisurely under 10 miles per hour (or less) pace.
We meet at 9:45 AM at the DoubleTree in Del Mar parking lot, and plan to return by Noon.
The ride to Black Mountain road is along the safe 56 bike path, which is a gradual climb to Black Mountain road.
Return trip will be mostly down-hill.
Please register, as we are limiting this trip to 15 riders.
Please bring a mask, which must be worn, when less than 6 feet space to other riders applies.

Please bring the following items, as we plan to sit around a larger circle that will allow us to see each other, while meeting the required distancing rules:
- Camping Chair
- Beverage and Food of choice for yourself only
- Jacket or blanket (in case is gets cooler)
- Flash Light (if you plan to stay after sunset)
- Happy Face wearing mandatory mask
- Bring your well behaved dog

Highlights will include a hike through the Grasslands, the Fortuna Trail, picturesque Oak Canyon and the historic Old Mission Dam. Distance is 2-3 miles / Difficulty is moderate. Hike
Meet at the dirt parking lot at the corner of Father Junipero Serra Trail and Bushy Hill Drive across the street from Kumeyaay Lake Campground. Overflow parking is along Father Junipero Serra Trail (inside the gate if you can).
Face coverings and social distancing required. Bring a hat, water and hiking boots.
Dogs must be leashed / poop bags required.

| Virtual Games Night - September 24th
The 1st Action Virtual Games will be held via Zoom on Thursday September 24th, 2020 at 6:00 PM.
This first virtual game event will be Trivia, and the questions will be geared around our club’s favorite activity-SKIING!
The winner of the event will receive an Action Beer or Wine Tumbler!
From 6:00-6:30 we will welcome participants during a virtual Happy Hour, followed by game from 6:30-7:30
Registration is required for this event. Please register by noon on Thursday, September 24th.
A ZOOM LINK will be sent to all registered participants about 1 hour before the start of the event.
