Action News & Updates

Your Action Board Members met to discuss the ongoing Coronavirus situation and future plans. Keeping Action member's safe is our number one priority.

  • Action Ski & Snowboard Club's  Facebook page is active and has lots of fun pictures, pertinent information and ongoing discussions. Thanks Nina Nordstrom for taking care of it! Favorite ski trip? Post yours with pictures, dates and memories! We can't meet, but we can still virtually mingle, share and get to know each other better.

  • With our fiscal year ending on May 31st, early-bird membership renewal rate is now available through the end of August at $35.  We understand that many of our members may be impacted in unique ways by the current pandemic.  Should there be anything else we can help with, in smoothing your transition back to normalcy, please email suggestions to prez@actionski.org.  We hope that most of us will be able to stick with Action through these uncertain times, so we can all join in on our exciting journey back to our favorite slopes around the world as soon as possible.   • Wednesday, August 5th is the next scheduled Happy Hour / General Meeting at Arterra, which is tentative and dependent on the situation at that time. 
  • The End of Year Party has been cancelled.

  • Scheduling 2021 ski trips are on hold until we have more insight into what the resorts are planning, as well as health precautions.
  • Action is a nature and sports driven club whose members care about the environment we enjoy. Remember to Refuse, Reuse, Reduce, Recycle. 

  • We encourage you to support Promises2Kids, (San Diego's Foster Kids who don't have a home to go to) if you are looking for an organization to support. More information can be found at Promises2Kids Donations
